Steps of Your Journey

MODULE ONE

Find Haven Amidst the Chaos

Change, Chaos, Pandemonium, Uncertainty, Crisis.

These words typically bring up feelings of fear, anxiety, confusion, pain, inadequacy, overwhelm, exhaustion and all other sorts of distress. Our initial reactions are seldom helpful in addressing our current dilemmas. Typically we go into fight, flight or freeze mode; none of which are ideal to successfully navigate the uncertain path on which we find ourselves.

Whether it’s a personal loss, an unsettling or unexpected transition at midlife, economic downturn, or the Co-vid pandemic; crises are best handled from a place of being anchored, steady and centered. Currently, many experience all of these at the same time. It’s never been more important to “keep your seat” and “get a grip” before deciding what to do. It can make all the difference between having a catastrophe or a transformation.

This first step will give you tools to find your strong inner core and fortify yourself for the challenges you face.

  • Work effectively with personal fears and stresses in this time of uncertainty.
  • Put into action the first phase of  a personal “thriving through chaos”  plan.
  • Master three timeless daily practices to develop inner calm and grounding in a chaos of change.

MODULE TWO

Transformative Tools for Chaotic Times [2 – Part Module]

Throughout history, humans in cultures around the world have utilized a common cross-cultural holistic model in their ancient wisdom traditions to navigate their changing environments, connect with their greater universe and form meaningful connections with the unseen world. The unseen world is what they call the Great Mystery and what we call the Soul. It provides essential fundamental frameworks and a powerful guide for the continual evolution of wholeness and well-being throughout a person’s life. It is still used by indigenous and earth based cultures around the world to cultivate a sense of meaning and purpose, courage, wisdom and vitality.

For two weeks, we will explore these powerful thought provoking frameworks of initiation and rites of passage, ceremony and ritual and adapt them to practical contemporary practices which will guide us through life transitions and current challenges.

  • Develop clarity, courage, passion and vision using tools passed down from time tested cross-cultural wisdom traditions and adapted for contemporary times.
  • Connect intimately with Nature as healer, mentor and teacher in navigating life obstacles, crises and transitions.
  • Gain insight and momentum by answering the four questions every woman should ask herself as she prepares for the next quest of her life journey.

MODULE TREE

Burn Your Map but Keep Your Compass

There is a big different between Change and Transformation. Change happens to us and around us all the time. We change our dinner plans, cancel a picnic due to rain, remodel our houses, move to a new city, get a different partner, or our parent dies.

Transformation is an inside job. It’s when something causes a fundamental shift at your inner core; an inner disorientation, restlessness, or disenchantment and calls for a breakup of your old identity to make more space for something new.

In this session, we will be exploring the three phases of transformation; the ending, the middle; better described as the strange emptiness of the neutral zone, and the new beginning. We will test old assumptions and beliefs, visit painful patterns that need to be dropped, and develop our soul muscles as we quest into the territory of your personal truth and authenticity.

  • Eliminate personally held historical beliefs and cultural myths and stories about midlife and elder hood that keep you pigeonholed and from choosing from a plethora of fulfilling future possibilities.
  • Take back your personal power by strengthening family patterns and expectations which support your life in positive ways and dispel those which no longer serve you.
  • Build resiliency and optimism by imagining and reorienting yourself to new illuminated ways of being.

MODULE FOUR

Archetypes and Shadow at Midlife

Archetypes are universal themes that we adopt as we live our life stories. People and life situations are often subconsciously affected by archetypes reflected in symbols, images, and themes. We see archetypes as recurring images in art, literature, myths, and dreams. Mother, Father, Child, Lover, Creator, Warrior, Caregiver, and an untold number of others — these are expressed in characters, stories, images, and symbols in all cultures and are played out in all universal experiences in human life.

Exploring which archetypes are influential in our lives can lead us to new insights; offering a clearer more self-aware perception of what is operating in us.

In this session we will consciously choose the right archetype to create richer future life story, and use our archetypes to our advantage instead of being controlled by them.

  • Use to your greatest advantage the powerful positive archetypes operating in your life.
  • Banish shadow archetypes keeping you stuck in false assumptions, limiting beliefs and irrational ideas that sabotage your dreams and plans.
  • Graciously accept limitations of this time of life while reaching towards possibilities which excite and enliven you.

MODULE FIVE

Re-imagine Your Next Chapter

Our life journey is not made up of one long continuous trek but rather a series of quests; each having an ending, middle, and a beginning. Destiny often creeps in to throw us curve balls, offer new information, present new challenges and obstacles, and create losses and new opportunities. Along the way, at some point, we find we need to let go of a map or plan but we still hold on to our compass- which always guides us. But now we find we could have multiple paths heading in the same direction. What do we do?

Our compass represents our personal values and beliefs we live by and the dreams and goals our Soul is directing us towards. Our compass keeps us from wandering around in a dry desert of unfullfillment and keeps us pointed in the direction of the inspired life we seek.

In this session, we will build our internal compass to guide us, utilize tools to analyze the best choices for us, and choose the best plan for our next quest.

  • Create a new, updated and enhanced personal creed and inner compass which guides you in your planning and decision making moving forward.
  • Identify and build a plan for your three top choices for an inspired life moving forward.
  • Test and choose your inspired plan for this next phase of life.

MODULE SIX

Claim Your Warrioress Voice

Most people don’t like change unless they are the ones initiating it or it’s something they believed you should do or change anyway. When you initiate a change it is bound to affect someone else. A lot of the time the initial reaction isn’t received well. You are upsetting the proverbial applecart or you are rocking the proverbial boat.

This happens frequently at midlife. As a western culture, we still have assumptions and expectations about what someone “our age” is suppose to do or how they are suppose to act. This is especially true if we have children, life partners, parents or bosses to contend with. You will come up against people who have a vested interest in you staying on exactly the path you are on.

Don’t take it personally. Reacting from self interest or a genuine concern is a common initial reaction from others. In this session you will learn how to call on your courage and your resolve to effectively meet resistance you may encounter. After all, you don’t want to come all this way in the program to have your sails deflated and your momentum squashed.

  • Learn to speak your truth with clarity and confidence.
  • Be proficient in successfully addressing resistance from others and managing your boundaries.
  • Strengthen and maintain important allies and supporters and by practicing the four ritual protocols of honorable closure.

MODULE SEVEN

Walk the Mystical Path with Practical Feet

When your are finished with this program and once again become preoccupied with your daily life and all its distractions, underneath it all your soul will still call out to you. The center of soul craft is ensuring that the good, true, and beautiful in our nature, which is our self worth, is at least as strong as our self critic. If you are living in a way that feeds your self worth as opposed to feeding the self critic – then you can heal yourself and continually regenerate.

If you stay in touch with your own deep soul you can also be a healing agent in your family, your community, your nation, and the world.

The work you do in this session will prepare you to immediately transfer your new insights and values into concrete actionable steps to apply with other in your life.

  • Integrate and share your new soul craft while attending to the responsibilities of your “day job” and/or current life.
  • Share your “evolving legacy “NOW, as you serve individuals, groups, teams and/or your “ tribes” as a leader, mentor, wise elder and trusted advisor.
  • Artfully guide others to thrive through uncertainty, change and/or chaos using an elegant and effective transformation model.

Cross the Bridge From Leader to Way-shower

What is a Way-shower?

A Way-shower shares her heart, vision, hope and faith with others and sees her own life a profound mystery and sacred journey she want to share with others.

Way-showers are often found within challenging times and circumstances. Their own life experiences and difficulties have impacted them on a soul level and have seeded them with a more divine intention to help others move forward through these turbulent times. This aspect is an innate part of their nature. They do this by offering and then showing a pathway through difficult times and towards a fulfilling life while being always open, curious, flexible and thirsty for continual growth.

We will explore and define the ways in which you envision your future self as leader, mentor, wayshower, or all three at this time in your life.

  • Maintain your inspiration, energy and sense of significance specifically during those last years before transitioning from a long term career journey onto your next life quest.
  • Develop confidence in your role guiding others to “walk the mystical path with practical feet”.
  • Experience the juice and vibrancy that comes with cross-generational mentoring.
